The rules of
the road.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a contract between you (“you” or “Customer”) and Literica AI, Inc. (“Literica AI”, “we”, “us”), a company with its registered office at 90A Nizami Street, Baku AZ 1010, Azerbaijan.

By creating an account or using literica.ai (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Subject to these Terms and your timely payment of any fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal research, study, or business purposes.

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models, prompts, or source code.
• Use the Service to train competing AI systems or to scrape it at scale.
• Upload content you don't have the right to upload (see Acceptable Use).

Paid plans (Researcher, Lab) are sold on a recurring subscription basis — monthly or annual, in US dollars, at the prices published on our Pricing page.

Merchant of Record. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are sold and fulfilled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales tax / VAT collection, invoicing, and chargeback management. Your purchase receipt and billing statements will reference Lemon Squeezy.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will charge the payment method on file on the renewal date.

Cancellation. You may cancel any time from your account settings or by emailing support@literica.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not prorate refunds for unused time on monthly plans; see our Refund Policy for annual plans and the 14-day guarantee.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. For active subscriptions, changes take effect on the next renewal and we will email you at least 30 days in advance.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will retry for up to 14 days and email you. Continued failure downgrades the account to the free Explorer tier — your library is preserved, but paid features are paused until billing is resolved.

Taxes. Lemon Squeezy will collect any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax based on your billing location and add it to your invoice.

Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violating it can result in suspension or termination without refund.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account. On deletion, your Content is removed within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you (a) materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, (b) fail to pay fees when due, or (c) use the Service in a way that exposes us or our other customers to legal or security risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Baku, Azerbaijan.

Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence — if you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with non-waivable consumer rights, those rights still apply.
